I saw, I learnt,
Not everyone is good-looking,
Yet everyone is beautiful,
In one or the other way.
I saw, I learnt,
Not every child goes to school,
Yet is active and ever-smiling,
And keeps sorrow away.
I saw, I learnt,
Not everyone is rich,
Yet those with hearts of gold,
Are actually the richest.
I saw, I learnt,
Not everyone finds love,
Yet those who do,
Make miracles happen.
I saw, I learnt,
Not every person is moral,
Yet the world goes on,
Due to those rare moral ones.
I saw, I learnt,
Not everyone is grateful,
Yet those who are,
Achieve all the more success.
I saw, I learnt,
Not every jewel is real,
Only few know how to separate,
The true jewel from the fake.
I saw, I learnt,
Not every grain reaches a mouth,
Yet some infested that do,
Cause children's unfortunate deaths.
I saw, I learnt,
Not everyone has Will to do good,
Yet those who do,
Are remembered forever fondly.
I saw, I learnt,
That Life has many sorrows,
Yet there are rainbows,
Of Hope, Smiles, Support and Love!
