How God punished Furious Rutu

Ten-year-old Rutu had closed the bedroom door behind her with a thud and locked herself up again for the umpteenth time.

Her mother had warned her against doing it- still Rutu did as she was furious with her mother just because she had firmly told her to switch off the TV.

To her horror, Rutu found she could not open the latch of the door after a while, when she wanted to come out!

Panic gripped her as she screamed from inside making loud noises struggling with opening the door- "MAMA OPEN THE DOOR!"

Her mother furiously said-"It's God's punishment for you Rutu- now fight with the door to come out and don't you EVER fight with me again!"

    Nice one but felt ten year old Rutu's mom should not punish her like this when the girl was in panic

      Thanks KP for reading n commenting! I feel dat even after doing d same drama umpteen times if d kid did not agree to listen even if her mother explained her mny times, then this was God's way of doing justice! Perhaps d panic n struggle wd stop her from closing door n locking herself up in future!

      Ha ha! No Shabab! With today's kids getting more rude, arrogant, negative-minded, only God saves the day for nagged Moms whose thousand times polite requests to not lock themselves up in rooms for their kids goes ignored!! What can a 'REAL' Mom do from outside coz the door is jammed from inside?! Perhaps she can try kicking it multiple times to make a hindi film type entry by breaking the poor jammed door...:P

      Yes that's right! Both were furious! The negative kid got on her mother's nerves as well with frequent lashings of the door! Finally she had 2 learn it the hard way....:P

    Amazingly written. I have done it so many times though never got locked inside. Poor kid must be terrified.

      OMG! U used to shut the door & lock urself up when angry?! Yes has to be terrifying...but then...it was God's way of teaching her a lesson...her Mom could obviously do nothin from d outside except perhaps bang it open......with all her anger again...:P
