A crimson sky,

A billion joys,

Life lasting memories,

One name - AIRSWEEE.

So many reflections,

As this plane will fly;

Leaving behind this Delhi city,

Yet having given me wings to fly!

Thirty women,

Thirty dreams,

Scale up – the vision,

Next big leap – the mission.

Three days of wisdom,

Non-stop assimilation-

‘Start Up India’ to ‘Pitching’,

‘Mindfulness’ to ‘Funding’.

Not just this thirty,

But a 575-strong community;

Alone we are nothing,

Together – a Fireball of Unity!

One among the many Groupfies clicked by Yours Truly

Orders from each other,

Likes, follows, comments together,

We stand testimony to each other,

Our belongingness is our power.

We inspire and are,

Each other’s inspiration.

We grow and lift each other-

Cooperation with competition.

We are really so lucky,

To be part of the family AIRSWEEE!

We will forever remain connected,

This was meant to be – our DESTINY!

*This poem is written on my way back after attending Airsweee Scaleup Conclave for Women Entrepreneurs from 23-25 September, 2019. Airsweee means All India Roadshow on Women’s Economic Empowerment through Entrepreneurship, a pathbreaking programme put together by TiE Global and US Embassy to help scale up women’s enterprises in India through mentorship and support. Our brand Utkalamrita (premium brand of Sabat Exports Private Limited, Bhubaneswar) was selected among top 30 women enterprises chosen for scaleup from about 575 enterprises. The three day programme in Delhi was an eye-opener and we hope to grow much faster after this!
