Fishing with my Friend

Top post on IndiBlogger.in, the community of Indian Bloggers

My friend and me sat fishing by the river quietly when he suddenly broke the silence by asking, "Have you ever felt like a fish out of water?"

I said, "No."

In the flash of a second he edged closer and pushed me into the water.

As I emerged out of the cold water shivering, I said, "Now I do".

Then with a swift powerful shove of my hand towards him I  exclaimed, "It's your turn now!"

  1. That reminds me of a scene from the movie Jab We Met, when Geet makes Aditya & herself fall into the chilled water!
Right observation that in water, humans feel like a fish out of water! While the story is different for fishes...
Deep meaning in here. May we all successfully adapt & feel free & fresh like a fish in water! :)

    2. I was also reminded of the same.
I will say that it was pretty good. While being such a lighthearted thing, it offers a deeper meaning as well. Quoting from Anita "humans feel like a fish out of water."
